Yermak and Svyrydenko commented on negotiations with the US regarding natural resources.

Ukraine is negotiating with the US on investments in mineral extraction
During the forum 'Ukraine. Year 2025' in Kyiv, heads of Ukrainian departments reported that Ukraine is negotiating with the US regarding investments in mineral extraction.
Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko noted that Ukraine has significant reserves of titanium, lithium, uranium, and rare earth metals. However, additional geological research is needed to determine the full volume of reserves.
According to Svyrydenko, there are minerals worth about 350 billion dollars in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, which Russia likely has access to.
Andriy Yermak, head of the President's Office, emphasized that American and European investments in mineral extraction are viewed as a security guarantee element. He also stated:
'The agreement that may appear must meet Ukraine's national interests and at the same Time be interesting for our partners.'
Yermak also reported that he and Minister of Economy Svyrydenko will hold a new round of negotiations with American partners today.
It was previously reported that Ukraine responded to the US proposal regarding a 500 billion dollar mineral fund.
