Ukraine must be strong to be able to talk to Russia on equal terms - Yermak
The head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak stated that Ukraine must be strong in order to speak with Russia on equal terms. He made this statement during an interview for the 'Karpak on Suspilne' project, as reported by 'Khvylya'.
According to Yermak, Ukraine is currently not ready for negotiations with Russia regarding the end of the war due to the lack of necessary weapons and the confidence that the Russian Federation will not attack again in a few years.
'That is why we are talking to our partners today to understand how important it is to strengthen Ukraine. In general, it is necessary to debunk the Russian narratives that Ukraine wanted the war. Ukraine did not want it and did not provoke Russia in any way. The Russian Federation came here not to protect anyone, as it does not even protect its own territory (for example, the Kursk region)', - said the head of the President's Office.
Yermak also emphasized that it is important for Putin to continue the aggression on our territory.
'Therefore, in order to start negotiations, Ukraine must be strong and only then will it be able to speak with the Russian Federation on equal terms,' - he added.
Earlier, Yermak pointed out the obvious absurdity of Putin.
