Ukraine Successfully Completed the Screening of Legislation for EU Membership

Ukraine is actively moving towards European integration, achieving significant progress in key sectors of state development. This was reported by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, who stated that the country has successfully completed the external screening of legislation for the first negotiation cluster for joining the European Union.

Digital Development of Ukraine

Ukraine has achieved impressive results in the digital sector, ranking fifth in the world in the development of digital public services. The example of the 'Diia' application confirms this success, as it serves nearly 22 million users and provides over 30 services in the mobile application and more than 120 on the portal.

In 2024, new services were introduced, including e-Entrepreneur, the educational ecosystem 'Mriya', and the option for online marriage registration.

Energy Development

Ukraine attracted over 1 billion euros from international partners to the Fund for the Support of Ukrainian Energy. These funds will be used for the restoration of energy infrastructure and to provide the population with electricity and heating.

Particularly important achievement is the expansion of electricity import from Europe to 2.1 GW.

Restoration of Infrastructure and De-mining

In 2024, 155 schools and 124 medical facilities were restored, as well as 640 infrastructure projects were implemented. Through the e-Restoration program, over 46 thousand families received compensation totaling 4.7 billion hryvnias for damaged housing.

In the humanitarian sphere, de-mining checked over 315 thousand hectares of potentially dangerous agricultural land, of which 265 thousand have already been returned to operation.
