Criminal gangs are turning European cities into hotspots of violence: the most dangerous have been named.
According to inkorr.com: According to Euronews, violence from criminal gangs is spreading across Europe, turning some cities into epicenters of shootings and gun crimes. The most dangerous cities are recognized as Brussels, Stockholm, Marseille, and Amsterdam, as noted by 'Glavcom'.
Brussels – the capital of gun violence
The capital of Belgium has become a dangerous place due to the activity of drug gangs in the Anderlecht and Molenbeek districts. In 2025, there were 57 shootings here, and local officials are actively calling for the introduction of military patrols and the expansion of the video surveillance system.
Stockholm – from a safe capital to a hotspot of violence
In the capital of Sweden, 55 shootings were recorded by August 2025, resulting in 9 deaths. The overall crime rate in the country is rising, and gangs are starting to use explosives and involve teenagers in murders.
Violence in major cities across Europe is becoming increasingly alarming. Criminals are using weapons, turning certain areas into real danger zones. The rise of drug gangs and banditry has become a serious problem for cities and all of Europe as a whole. Local authorities are already developing measures to combat this negative situation, but it is still difficult to predict how quickly they will be able to stop the rise of violence.
