Ukraine has received additional air defense systems and missiles from the European Union

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Ukraine has received additional air defense systems and missiles. This became possible after Zelensky's negotiations with the leaders of European countries, including Finland, Britain, Greece, and Croatia. The President also held a meeting with the NATO Secretary General and the leader of the German CDU party.

'Clear support for Ukraine. Thank you,' Zelensky summarized.

Zelensky also noted that the European Commission decided to allocate significant funds for the protection of Europe, including Ukraine. This includes the supply of additional air defense systems and missiles.

'This allows us to protect our cities and villages, our positions. And it creates additional conditions for working towards ending the war,' Zelensky added.

It is recalled that U.S. President Donald Trump ordered a halt to military assistance to Ukraine, including support for air defense systems and the supply of ammunition.

Zelensky stated that Ukraine is ready for negotiations aimed at achieving peace. The President also instructed the Minister of Defense, intelligence leaders, and diplomats to contact their colleagues in the United States and obtain official information regarding the cessation of American assistance.

Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Mike Johnson stated that the cessation of military assistance is temporary and related to the unsuccessful meeting of the presidents at the White House.
