US General explains what the peacekeeping mission in Ukraine should be.

US Army General: Peacekeeping forces in Ukraine must have a clear mission and command
According to US Army General Ben Hodges, who spoke in a telethon, the peacekeeping forces that may be deployed to Ukraine must have a clear mission and command. Currently, there are plans to send 10,000 personnel, but their tasks have not yet been defined.
Hodges highlighted several important points for a successful peacekeeping mission:
- defining tasks for the military;
- rules of engagement;
- unified command and integration with Ukrainian forces;
- comprehensive approach that includes various components.
Hodges emphasized that the deployment of the peacekeeping mission will take several months due to preparation and coordination.
Oleg Shamshur, former ambassador of Ukraine to the US, noted that attention is currently focused on a ceasefire, but another important aspect is the content of Trump's peace proposals.
China is also considering the possibility of joining the peacekeeping mission in Ukraine and this may affect Russia's position.
