Ukraine has opened the second GovTech Center in the world
Mykhailo Fedorov, the Minister of Digital Transformation, announced that Ukraine has become the second country in the world to establish a Global Government Technology Centre. The first center is located in Berlin.
The main goal of this project is to promote Ukraine's experience in digital reforms globally.
The GovTech Center brings together government, business, startups, and researchers to find new digital solutions and create joint projects with international partners and share experiences. The Ukrainian GovTech Center is part of the C4IR network of the World Economic Forum,' Fedorov said.
The center will operate in the following areas:
- GovTech Observatory - tracking GovTech trends, conducting research and analytics.
- Innovation Gateway - finding partners for the development of innovations such as artificial intelligence, EdTech, Defense Tech, Semiconductors, BioTech, Green Tech, AUV.
- FutureGov Education - training digital leaders in modern technologies. The center will partner with CDTO Campus to create a space where leaders can test and implement digital solutions.
GGTC Kyiv operates with the support of the EGAP Program funded by the Eastern Europe Foundation with funds from Switzerland, and with the initiative and assistance of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Fedorov reported.
