How much the state will compensate for organizing the burial
The state guarantees assistance for those participating in the burial by ensuring certain payments. For civilian retirees, this assistance amounts to two monthly pensions at the time of death. There are also special payments for military retirees, which amount to three monthly pensions, but not less than 15,140 UAH. The minimum assistance in 2025 will be 2,684 UAH.

The Ukrainian law 'On Burial and Funeral Affairs' provides the opportunity for executors of the deceased's will or those who took on the organization of the burial in the Economic space, the Management, and the Pension Fund to receive help. The state also fully covers burial expenses for certain groups of people, such as military personnel, participants in hostilities, Heroes of Ukraine and the USSR, people with disabilities due to war, and others.

After submitting all documents, the assistance is expected to be issued on the same day.
Additionally, the state provides certain financial payments for individuals belonging to specific privileged categories, such as young medical professionals who will work in rural areas or near the front lines.
