Financial Support for Residents of War-Affected Areas

According to Novyny.live: Through a program run by the charity 'Right to Protection' and funded by the U.S. government, residents from five Ukrainian regions impacted by hostilities can now apply for cash assistance to cover essential needs. This initiative is designed to support Ukrainians facing severe hardship due to the ongoing conflict.

Eligibility and Payment Amounts

Assistance is available to individuals living within 50 kilometers of the front line or the Russian border. Applicants must have a monthly income no greater than 8,422 UAH per person and hold internally displaced person (IDP) status. Under the program, participants may receive:

  • 1,800 UAH per month;
  • 4,100 UAH per month, depending on their specific circumstances.

The total payout can reach 10,800 UAH over six months or 12,300 UAH over three months.

Registration points are open in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Odesa regions. To register, applicants must provide:

  • a passport;
  • a taxpayer identification number (RNOKPP);
  • a bank account;
  • documents confirming family composition.

This program offers crucial support for displaced people who were forced to flee their homes due to fighting.

This cash assistance initiative is part of broader international efforts to aid Ukraine during the war. It delivers vital financial relief to people who have endured the destruction of their homes and other losses from the conflict.
