Philologist Olga Vasilyeva shares the rules for writing the names of websites, social networks, and messengers in Ukrainian. She recommends writing the word 'Twitter' with a double 't' and using it together with 'Google'. It is also advisable to use words with the component 'smart', such as 'smartwatch' and 'smart card'. Recently, the social network 'Twitter' was changed to 'X'. According to spelling rules, the names of websites, social networks, search engines, etc. are written with a lowercase letter, but if there is a generic noun, they are written with an uppercase letter and in quotation marks. Olga Vasilyeva explained how to properly write expressions and words that are frequently used by Ukrainians, such as 'please advise', 'according to', 'in accordance with'.
