It is worth mentioning that in 2024, 161.9 thousand children were born in Ukraine. This data is based on the number of baby boxes and family support through the 'baby bundle'.
According to the Ministry of Justice, as of July 1, 2024, the number of born children compared to the same period before the Russian invasion decreased by one and a half times: 87,655 children against 132,595 in 2021. To improve the situation, deputies are proposing to revise childbirth benefits.
