Kharkiv is purchasing 85 euro buses for 230 million UAH: what are the requirements for the transport.
Bus Procurement in Kharkiv
According to inkorr.com: Kharkiv is preparing for an important purchase – 85 low-floor buses from Europe. The planned procurement will take place at a price of 229.98 million UAH. One of the main requirements is that the buses must meet safety and environmental standards.
Any damage to the tire must not exceed 40%. If this indicator is higher, the supplier is obliged to install a new set of tires.
The procurement must be completed by May 2026 within the city of Kharkiv. Due to the martial law, participants in the bidding must provide a guarantee of 6.8 million UAH. The deadline for submitting proposals is September 6, 2025.
The city plans to purchase 85 used low-floor buses from Europe for approximately 230 million hryvnias. These buses must meet the established safety and environmental standards, which will be an important step towards improving public transport in Kharkiv.
Thanks to this initiative, Kharkiv will be able to significantly renew its vehicle fleet, which, in turn, will positively affect the comfort of travel for residents and guests of the city. The bus procurement also demonstrates the authorities' efforts to address public transport and environmental issues.
