On May 29, at approximately 8:30 PM, the town of Zolochiv was hit by an FPV drone, damaging two private homes and a car. A 67-year-old female resident suffered shock from the explosion. In light of the ongoing assaults, the prosecutor's office is documenting the aftermath for future international legal proceedings.
Escalating Threat and Safety Measures
In response to the deteriorating security situation, authorities have expanded the mandatory evacuation zone in the Bohodukhiv community, adding six more settlements to the list. Residents remain at high risk, and local officials are taking steps to ensure their protection.
The situation in Kharkiv Oblast remains volatile due to continuous shelling by Russian troops, endangering civilian lives and infrastructure. The expansion of the evacuation zone underscores the severity of the threat facing border-area inhabitants. While authorities are implementing protective measures, the need for international conflict resolution and civilian safeguarding continues to be urgent.
