The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, reported a phone conversation with the President of the United States, Donald Trump, on May 8, 2025. During the conversation, the leaders congratulated the peoples of both countries on Victory Day in Europe – the victory over Nazism. Zelensky also congratulated Trump on the ratification of the agreement on economic partnership by the Verkhovna Rada, which he called 'a truly historic document.'
Discussion of peace
