According to The Sun: A horrific story that unfolded during the festival left witnesses in shock. A bull, which had torches set on fire on its horns, attacked a man trying to escape. The attempt to run past the safety barriers was unsuccessful, and the person sustained serious injuries.
This is not the first case of violence against animals and people during celebrations in Spain. Footage of bulls attacking people has sparked outrage among animal rights advocates and the public. Such events continue even after the council of one of the cities declared days of mourning for the death of a festival participant.
