Pensions in Ukraine to Increase from November: Who Will Receive Bonuses Up to 570 Hryvnias.
According to inkorr.com: In November, Ukrainian pensioners will receive increased payments. This applies to those who have reached a certain age and have a small pension. Supplements range from 300 to 570 Hryvnias each month and are credited automatically, without the need to apply to the Pension Fund. This was reported by Oboz.
Who Will Receive Pension Increases from November
The state has set age bonuses for individuals over 70, provided that their total pension does not exceed 10,340.35 Hryvnias.
The amount of bonuses is as follows:
70–75 years — +300 UAH
75–80 years — +456 UAH
80+ years — +570 UAH.
The accrual will start from the date of birth, so in the first month, the amount will be proportional to the number of days after reaching the age. Previously, supplements were only received by individuals aged 80 and older, but later they were extended to the age groups of 75–79 and 70–74 years.
There is no need to contact the Pension Fund — everything happens automatically.
When May Increased Pension Payments Be Stopped
Along with the increase, there is also control. Some pensioners must undergo identification by the end of the year, including those who are abroad or in occupied territories.
Reasons for Halting Pensions
lack of identity confirmation/identification;
the recipient has not collected their pension for more than six months;
discovery of false information in documents;
missing a review for pensions for disability;
court decision.
It is important for internally displaced persons to maintain their IDP status or undergo verification. Legal disputes occur when the absence of status confirmation leads to the suspension of payments.
From 2026, the requirements for insurance experience will tighten: to retire at 60 years, one will need to have not 32, but 33 years of experience.
Thus, the new changes in pension payments can significantly improve the financial situation of elderly people in Ukraine. The automation of the payment accrual process will simplify the receipt of pensions for many citizens, but it is important to meet the requirements and undergo identification to avoid payment issues.
