Italy invests 200 million euros in restoring the Ukrainian power grid.
Italy will help restore the Ukrainian power grid with $200 million
Italy has decided to provide financial aid of 200 million euros for the restoration of the damaged Ukrainian power grid, which has suffered from shelling by Russian invaders. This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, Antonio Tajani, at the Italian-Ukrainian Business Forum.
Italy plans to cooperate with Ukraine and invest 200 million euros in the restoration of the power grid affected by Russian attacks. This decision was made because Italy does not want winter to become an ally of Russia, Tajani said.
The Italian Foreign Minister also announced a conference on the restoration of Ukraine, which will take place in Rome in 2025. This will be a preparatory event for the Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine scheduled for July 10-11, 2025. The conference will involve representatives from business, financial institutions, and trade associations.
