Antonio Tajani - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Italy, European Commissioner for Transport from 2008 to 2010 and from February 9, 2010 to October 31, 2014 responsible for Industry and Entrepreneurship. Place of Birth. Education. Antonio Tajani was born on August 4, 1953, in Rome. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at 'La Sapienza' University in Rome. He was the deputy chairman of the youth organization of the Italian Monarchist Union (Unione monarchica italiana), served as an officer in the Air Force (at the radar in San Giovanni Teatino).

In 1982 he became a professional journalist and editor of the parliamentary section of the weekly magazine Il Settimanale.

In 1982 he was a news presenter for the Radio 1 program of the RAI television and radio broadcaster.

In the parliamentary elections on September 25, 2022, he was elected as a deputy in his electoral district with 49% of the votes.

Since October 22, 2022, he is Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Italy.
