Ramzan Kadyrov: peace is only possible if Ukraine joins Russia
According to inkorr.com: The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, believes that it is not beneficial for Russia to stop military operations. In his opinion, peace is possible only on the condition that
Ukraine becomes a region of Russia. He said this in an interview with 'RIA Novosti', quoted by 'Glavkom'.
Kadyrov emphasized that he does not support the cessation of hostilities in the 'special military operation zone'.
'I am generally not an advocate of stopping hostilities under the current circumstances in the zone. I believe that stopping military operations now is not beneficial for us... The goals and objectives of the SMO are not pulled out of thin air – they are a guarantee of the safety of our entire country,' he noted.
Moreover, he expressed his position on the conditions under which peace is possible.
'Peace at our borders is only possible when Ukraine becomes a region or district of Russia,' Kadyrov said.
Earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine officially informed Ramzan Kadyrov of charges of violating the laws and customs of war, particularly the use of Ukrainian prisoners of war as 'human shields'.
Information about an incident where Kadyrov nearly drowned while vacationing in Turkey's Mugla province, on the beach of the five-star hotel The Plaza in Bodrum, also became known.
In his interview, Kadyrov again stressed the importance of transforming Ukraine into part of Russia in order to achieve peace in the region, as well as facing charges for violations of the laws of war.
Kadyrov's statements confirm the increasing tension between Russia and Ukraine, indicating the Russian authorities' unwillingness to compromise. Additionally, his personal problems during vacation reflect the difficult situation inside the country and on the front.
