Experts from 1st Move International compiled a ranking of countries that are most popular among those wishing to relocate. According to the latest data from Google, this year, there were the most queries regarding Canada — an impressive 269,220 times. Therefore, the top-10 countries are as follows:

- Ireland (179,400 search queries)
- New Zealand (177,700 search queries)
- Japan (172,880 search queries)

The study also shows that the USA remains the most popular choice for Brits planning to relocate. The managing director of the company, Mike Harvey, commented on this trend, highlighting the appeal of certain countries.
Forecasting relocations in 2026, we expect that many of the most popular places for relocation in the world will remain very popular, - he noted. Harvey also remarked that alongside the major powers, more attention is being drawn to quieter countries such as Cyprus and New Zealand.
Thus, the research revealed a list of desirable countries for relocation in 2025. The reasons for choice may depend on the weather, economic opportunities, and the desire to explore new cultures. Canada took first place, ahead of Australia, Ireland, and New Zealand, and other countries also made it to the top-10: Japan, Portugal, Costa Rica, Spain, the Netherlands, and Thailand. Among people, there is a growing interest in smaller countries with a comfortable lifestyle, such as Cyprus and New Zealand.
