The Head of the Palace of Ukraine Defended Kvartal 95: A Response to Criticism.
According to inkorr.com: Sergiy Perman, who heads the National Palace of Arts 'Ukraine', responded to the criticism directed at the 'Kvartal 95' studio regarding their concerts in December. In his address, he expressed support for the artists and emphasized their charitable activities, especially during wartime.
'My friends, wonderful artists, and good people! Some of them are even not familiar with the owners. They have faced so much since 2019... how are they worse than you... who are making accusations? And I know that they are better!'
Perman also noted that the number of free concerts by 'Kvartal 95' in hot spots is unprecedented. He stressed that 'no one has done as many free performances in hot spots as 'Kvartal' has!'.
Absolute Refutation of the Accusations
Representatives of 'Kvartal 95' denied that the situation with one of their co-owners has anything to do with the studio's activities. They confirmed this in their official statement.
'There is a lot of information in the media about one of our owners, but this is not related to the work of the 'Kvartal 95' studio, its content, or team,' the statement reads.
Furthermore, the studio emphasized that the co-owner has only a legal connection with them and does not influence their creativity or team decisions.
Amidst the criticism directed at 'Kvartal 95', Sergiy Perman defended the artists, reminding about their volunteer and charitable activities. He highlighted the uniqueness of free concerts in hot spots, noting that such scale of support has no analogues.
This situation shows how important it is to support artists in difficult times. 'Kvartal 95' continues its activities, despite the pressure, and actively participates in helping the country. Such initiatives underscore the significance of art as an important element of moral support in society.
