According to TSN.ua: Air raid sirens continue to wail across Kyiv as the capital faces a barrage of missiles and attack drones. Explosions have been heard in multiple districts throughout the city. During the assault on March 16, 2023, debris from hostile unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) landed in open terrain within the Solomianskyi district. In the Sviatoshynskyi district, wreckage fell on non-residential land, sparking a grass fire.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that drone fragments came down in the very heart of the capital, stating:
“Debris fell right in the center of the city. There are no fires or casualties. The enemy attack on Kyiv is ongoing.” – Vitali Klitschko
Andriy Kovalenko added that Russian forces are attempting to strike Kyiv’s critical infrastructure. The situation remains tense, with local emergency services working to address the aftermath of the assault.
