China Calls for Negotiations with Ukraine and the EU: What It Means for the War.
China has joined discussions regarding the situation in Ukraine, urging all interested parties to participate in negotiations. A representative of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lin Jian, expressed hope for the participation of Ukraine and EU countries in this process.
Why the Participation of All Parties Is Necessary
Lin Jian emphasized the necessity of involving all parties in the negotiation process, especially in the context of a possible summit between Trump and Putin, circumventing Ukraine and the EU. China has expressed support for any initiatives aimed at a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine.
Previously, there were mentions of a potential trilateral meeting between Zelensky, Trump, and Putin. Donald Trump has also promised to take action against Russia if an agreement to end the war in Ukraine is not reached.
Statements from the Chinese representative indicate the importance of broad participation from all parties in resolving the conflict in Ukraine, as well as the readiness to support any initiatives aimed at achieving peace in the region.Read also
