The Kyiv City State Administration has refuted information about a possible lack of hot water in summer in Kyiv. According to them, the municipal enterprise 'Kyivteploenergo' unequivocally dismissed rumors about a possible suspension of hot water supply due to economic difficulties or a gas shortage.
In an official statement, the Kyiv City State Administration also emphasized that hot water supply will be carried out in standard mode throughout the summer period. Only emergency situations or planned hydraulic tests may be the cause of temporary hot water shortages.
'Hot water will be supplied in summer, in standard mode. Individual cases of temporary lack of hot water may only be related to emergency situations or planned hydraulic tests'
The city's utility services highlighted that during emergency situations, problems with hot water supply are usually resolved within one day, while planned works may last up to two weeks with possible adjustments.
The city authorities assure that all necessary preparatory work for the heating season will be completed on time. They currently remind about possible problems with heating supply due to gas shortages.
