North Korean troops have suffered significant losses in military actions against Ukraine

According to South Korean intelligence, North Korean fighters have suffered heavy losses in combat operations against Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelensky estimates the number of casualties at over 3,000, while Kim Jong Un supports Vladimir Putin.

They say the North Korean forces expected an easy campaign against the Ukrainian military. But the reality turned out to be harsher.

According to the South Korean National Intelligence Service, about 1,100 North Korean special forces have been killed or wounded since their entry into battle against Ukraine. Zelensky mentions even more - over 3,000 people. Meanwhile, Kim Jong Un continues to support Putin, receiving oil, money, and military technology.

President Zelensky previously stated that North Korea may send even more troops and weapons to the front. The Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea also supported this forecast, asserting that Pyongyang is preparing for the rotation or dispatch of additional forces to Russia.

According to The Wall Street Journal, two-thirds of the mines and shells that Russia fires at Ukraine are produced in North Korea. Every third ballistic missile also comes from there. Experts note that Pyongyang is increasing its weapon production to meet Russia's needs.

However, aside from technology, North Korean troops find it difficult to coordinate their actions with the Russians due to the language barrier, which also leads to losses.

Earlier, GUR revealed the features of the tactics of North Korean troops near Kursk.
