Conscripts with reservations do not undergo military medical commission: in which case this is mandatory.
Conscripts with reservations should not undergo military medical commissions. However, there is an exception to this rule, under which a citizen must still appear for the military medical commission.
Lawyer Vladislav Deriy wrote about this on the 'Lawyers.UA' portal.
Military medical commission is not mandatory
A citizen who has a reservation at work turned to lawyers. The man asked whether he needs to undergo a military medical commission in this status. Lawyer Vladislav Deriy noted in his response that the military medical commission is not mandatory for citizens who have a reservation, meaning they cannot be mobilized.
When the commission still needs to be passed
However, the lawyer added, there is one case when even with a reservation for mobilization, a citizen must undergo a military medical commission. This is possible in a situation when this citizen previously, before changes in legislation, had the status of 'conditionally fit'. 'If you are over 25 years old, then you were required to pass the military medical commission as conditionally fit until June 5. Therefore, if you did not do this, you may face a fine,' emphasized Deriy.
We remind you that we previously wrote about how a conscript citizen should correctly confirm diagnoses for the military medical commission. We also mentioned whether it is possible to obtain a conclusion from the military medical commission without a real examination.
Ukrainian lawyers explained that although the military medical commission is not mandatory for people with reservations, there are exceptions when citizens still have to undergo it. This is possible in case a person previously had the status of 'conditionally fit' under the old rules. In this case, skipping the military medical commission may lead to a fine.
