Who is entitled to the 870 UAH supplement in 2025
It is specified that women who have given birth to or adopted five children and raised them to the age of six will be able to receive assistance until retirement. They will also have the opportunity to retire earlier if they meet the conditions of reaching 50 years of age and having 15 years of insurance experience.
- For example, mothers of seven children will receive a supplement to their pension equivalent to 37% of the minimum subsistence level for non-working individuals. In 2025, this amount will be 873 UAH per month.
Rules for pension application and supplements for large families
To receive a pension and supplement, mothers must personally visit the Pension Fund of Ukraine and present the necessary documents, such as a passport, identification code, work book, birth certificates of children, and their passports.
It is also worth noting that large families can take advantage of various benefits such as discounts on utilities and education. Additionally, there are minimum pension guarantees for relatives of fallen military personnel.
This new initiative of the Ukrainian government is aimed at supporting large families who have raised children but lack sufficient pension support due to insufficient insurance experience. The new rules will allow these women to receive additional assistance and benefits, contributing to the improvement of their financial situation and making life a little easier.Read also
