Delays at the border with Poland: Krakovets-Korchova is closing for repairs.
According to inkorr.com: At the Krakovets-Korchova crossing point for freight vehicles from Ukraine, a delay in operations is expected from October 15 to December 15, 2025. This is due to preventive maintenance of weight complexes and the installation of radiation control systems. The State Customs Service recommends that drivers choose other crossing points and use a special map for monitoring queues.
"The European Union has begun implementing a new border control system, collecting biometric data at three crossing points in Ukraine - Shehyni, Solotvyno, and Luzhanka."
Also, an agreement has been concluded between Ukraine and Romania, under which buses of any capacity will be able to cross the crossing point 'Diakivtsi-Rakivets' at the border with Romania.
The Polish side reported a slowdown in operations at Krakovets-Korchova due to technical work. In Ukraine, a new border control system is actively being implemented in cooperation with the European Union. Therefore, drivers and carriers should be prepared for possible delays and look for alternative routes for crossing the border.
It is evident that changes in the operation of border points will affect the transportation of goods and passengers. Drivers planning to cross the border should take into account possible inconveniences and plan their routes in advance. As stated by the State Customs Service, it is important to keep track of updates and use available resources to obtain current information about queues and delays.
