SBU detained a collaborator in Mykolaiv: he corrected missile strikes by the Russian Federation on the city.

A resident of Mykolaiv identified the locations of Ukrainian troops and transmitted this information to the FSB for strikes. However, the SBU uncovered and detained him, facing up to 12 years in prison.

The Security Service detained a 45-year-old local resident in Mykolaiv who adjusted the Russian missile-drone attack on the city. According to the SBU, he was in contact with agent Sergey Lebedev (known by the nickname 'Lohmatyi'), who is hiding in Donetsk and simultaneously works for the FSB and Russian military intelligence.

Following instructions from 'Lohmatyi', the suspect was preparing a new series of airstrikes on the regional center. To identify the coordinates of 'targets', the individual drove around the city, tracking the locations of the largest concentration of Ukrainian troops. The informant transmitted data to his curator in the form of markers on online maps and deleted all correspondence after each communication session.

What punishment is threatened

The suspect has been notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized dissemination of information about the movement and placement of the Armed Forces under martial law). He faces up to 12 years in prison. The suspect is in custody without the right to bail.
