Analysis of the task
On the stretch of road, the driver intends to turn right. According to paragraph 9.2 of the Traffic Rules, before making a turn, the driver should signal with turn indicators in the appropriate direction. But when exactly should they do this?
Let's read paragraph 9.4 of the Traffic Rules:
'Signals with turn indicators or hand signals should be given well in advance of the maneuver (taking into account the speed of movement), but not less than 50–100 meters in populated areas and 150–200 meters outside them, and should be stopped immediately after its completion (hand signals should be finished just before starting the maneuver). Signals are prohibited if they might be unclear to other road users.'
In the situation depicted, the driver is within a populated area, so points A and B are appropriate. Giving a signal at point C is too late.
