In Crimea, which has been temporarily occupied, explosions have been occurring since 00:11 on May 2. Loud explosions are heard from airfields and other military facilities, as reported by local social media. The 'Saky' airfield in Novofedorivka is under drone attack, but authorities claim that air defense forces are successfully repelling them. Local residents are posting videos on social media showing columns of smoke and flames in the sky. Explosions are audible in Sevastopol, Saky, Vuhlovoye, Novofedorivka, Dzhankoy, and Feodosia. Other airfields and military facilities have also been attacked.

Earlier, around 00:11, a powerful explosion was heard in Feodosia, and later, another loud explosion occurred in the north of Sevastopol. However, detailed information and the reasons for these explosions are currently not being reported.
