Buying 'virtual' children. A man invented an original way to cross the border.

A man attempted to cross the border by posing as the father of three children
At the railway crossing point 'Mogiliv-Podilsky', border guards discovered a 26-year-old man from Donetsk region attempting to illegally cross the state border, presenting himself as the father of a large family. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
“To confirm his status, the man provided the Mogiliv-Podilsky border guard unit with birth certificates for three children, supposedly issued in Germany. According to the documents, his twin children were two years old, while the third child was seven months old,” the report says.
However, during the verification, the border guards had suspicions regarding the authenticity of the documents.
“It turned out that the birth certificates did not match the established samples. Later, the man admitted that he had no children at all and that he had purchased the fake documents for “virtual” children through an anonymous messenger on social media for €6,000,” the border guards noted.
Based on this fact, the border guards sent a report to the National Police about the signs of a criminal offense, as provided by Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
It is noteworthy that on the night of January 11, military personnel from the Podilsky unit stopped a vehicle near the state border that was filled with conscript-age men. The driver and 10 passengers intended to illegally leave for Moldova.
As previously reported, the most cases of illegal border crossing were recorded in the sections with Romania and Moldova. This was announced by the spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko.
