Kursk operation: The Armed Forces of Ukraine revealed enemy losses (video).
The Strategic Communications Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that since the beginning of the Kursk operation, the Russian Federation has lost almost 18 thousand people in this area - killed, wounded, and captured militants.
As of October 25, the enemy lost 17,819 servicemen in the Kursk region. Of these, 6,662 are irreversible, 10,446 are sanitary, and 711 are prisoners.
In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 45 tanks, 256 armored fighting vehicles, 565 units of automotive equipment, 99 artillery systems, and 5 multiple launch rocket systems.
On the main Ukrainian advance in the Kursk region, Ukrainian forces advanced west of Borok, southeast of Sudzha. However, Russian troops regained positions east of Obukhovka, southeast of Korenevo.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, refuted Putin's statement about the encirclement of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Kursk region.
The Kremlin set new deadlines for its troops: by February 1, 2025, to gain full control over the Kursk region. However, this deadline will no longer be met. In addition, it is planned to create a buffer zone on the territories of Ukraine by February 25. The Armed Forces of Ukraine were supposed to be expelled by mid-October, but they managed to achieve some success in recent weeks.
