According to inkorr.com: An avalanche on Mount Yalung-Ri in Nepal swept through a camp at an altitude of 4900 meters. As a result, seven people died — five foreign climbers and two Nepalese guides. This was reported by ABC, citing information from local authorities, who have not yet confirmed the nationalities of the deceased.

According to spokesperson of the Armed Police Forces Shailendra Tapa, another five people were injured. Rescuers managed to reach the site of the tragedy despite the difficult conditions in the mountainous area.
Stopping access to Mount Everest
Due to heavy snowfall in the Himalayas caused by Cyclone Manta, the authorities of Tibet temporarily closed access to Mount Everest. Heavy snowfall has also led to the halt of ticket sales for tourist routes in the Everest area.
As a result, seven people died in the avalanche on Mount Yalung-Ri, and access to Mount Everest is currently restricted due to heavy snowfall. These events indicate dangerous conditions in the mountains, prompting local authorities to take measures to ensure the safety of climbers and tourists.
