A plane from the USA has departed for the Russian Federation: Trump’s special representative may be on board.
In the evening of August 5, a flight from the USA was recorded. This aircraft may have Trump’s special representative Steve Witkoff on board.
According to dispatch data, this was reported by the Russian state agency TASS.
Witkoff's visit to Russia
'The plane that may have Witkoff on board has departed from the USA,' — the message states.
During a conversation with journalists, US President Donald Trump announced that a meeting with Russia would take place on August 6. It is likely that he was referring to Witkoff's visit to Moscow, which is supposed to happen this week.
It should be noted that Trump named a condition that could force Putin to end the war. In his opinion, if the price of oil drops by another ten dollars, the Kremlin dictator will have no choice.
Earlier, Trump explained why Witkoff would go to Moscow. According to him, the American side wants to negotiate with the Kremlin about a ceasefire.
In connection with Trump’s representative's visit to Russia, important negotiations on ending the conflict in the region and strengthening relations between the two countries can be expected. It is worth following the further development of the situation with particular attention.
