Deadly Elephant Attack in Malaysia: What Happened During the Logging.
Fatal Incident with a Logger in Malaysia
According to The Sun: In a remote area where a logger was working, a herd of elephants trampled a man to death. The victim was 43-year-old Said Jahari, whose body was discovered by colleagues on October 29 in the Gua Musang district in northern Malaysia.
According to district police chief Sik Chun Fu, the fatal incident occurred while Said was performing his duties. He noted that this is not the first case of human-elephant interaction, as similar situations have occurred in this area due to the increasing elephant population.
“This case is a tragic reminder of the risks people face while working in the wild,”
- said Sik Chun Fu.
Local authorities are considering possible measures to ensure the safety of workers in areas where elephants live. This issue is particularly relevant, as the growing population of these animals requires appropriate solutions to reduce risks not only for people but also for wildlife.
