In Kharkiv, possible beating of a man by TCC and SP employees - ombudsman reported
In Kharkiv, a possible case of a man being beaten by TCC and SP employees has been recorded. The Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, reported this in his official address.
To verify the information that appeared in the media, the representative of the ombudsman in the Kharkiv region, Oksana Chervyakova, sent a request to the Kharkiv OTCC and SP. The purpose of the request is to clarify the factual circumstances of the incident for further assessment of the situation.
The ombudsman emphasized the need for a prompt and impartial investigation of such cases. "In a country that is fighting for its independence, everything must be in accordance with the law, and if there are violations of human rights, an appropriate reaction and responsibility are necessary," the ombudsman noted.
Earlier reports of an increase in unlawful actions by TCC and SP representatives in Transcarpathia
It is worth noting that this is not the first such case. Earlier, Lubinets reported an increase in the number of appeals regarding unlawful actions by TCC and SP representatives in Transcarpathia. In particular, there was information about the illegal detention and beating of a man, which led to his death. A criminal case has been opened on this fact under Part 1 of Article 128 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (negligent severe or moderate bodily injury).
