Accident in Lviv: 50 thousand residents without water for the third day.
According to inkorr.com: An accident occurred on the main water pipeline in Lviv, resulting in part of the city remaining without water for the third day. The company 'Lvivvodokanal' calls this incident the largest in recent decades. Currently, about 50 thousand residents are without access to water supply due to this accident.
Restoration of Water Supply
Workers are already actively working on the repair of damaged pipelines, but additional damages complicate the process. Emergency crews are working without weekends to restore water supply as quickly as possible; however, the situation is assessed as extremely complicated.
“We do not remember such a complicated situation with water supply in Lviv. Our teams are working at the limit of their capabilities to promptly restore water supply for residents. We ask citizens to show understanding and patience, and appreciate the work of our employees,” noted 'Lvivvodokanal'.
Situation in Donbas
In some occupied areas of Donbas, there are also serious water supply problems. There is a catastrophic shortage of water, and the occupying authorities can provide only a quarter of the necessary volumes. This complicates the daily life of local residents and creates a risk of epidemic outbreaks due to insufficient drinking water.
Due to the accident in Lviv, about 50 thousand residents remain without water supply, leading to an extremely complicated situation in the city. Meanwhile, water supply issues in Donbas exacerbate the humanitarian crisis, as the lack of water threatens epidemics and complicates people's lives.
