'Angels of Memory' Event Held in Lviv

According to UATV: Lviv hosted the 'Angels of Memory' event to mark the Day of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes, observed annually on February 20. The gathering drew a large crowd to honor those who lost their lives during the Revolution of Dignity. Commemorations for the Heavenly Hundred take place across Ukraine, highlighting the enduring national significance of these events. The Revolution of Dignity, also known as Euromaidan, was a pivotal pro-European movement in 2013-2014 that fundamentally changed the nation's trajectory.

The ceremony began with a moment of silence and the raising of the national flag, acts symbolizing profound respect for the fallen. Paper angels served as poignant symbols of remembrance for those who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and dignity of the Ukrainian people.

'We have gathered today at this memorial for the Heavenly Hundred Heroes to honor those who perished during the Revolution of Dignity,' stated Adrian Dyhdalovych, one of the event's participants.

Among those present were individuals who had witnessed the events of the Revolution of Dignity from a distance.

'I watched this horror unfold on my television screen,' shared Andrii Zhelob, recounting his memories.
