Almost 1000 UAH to Pension — What Women Are Paid Extra in 2025.
The state has provided certain categories of Ukrainian women with the opportunity to receive additional payments to their pension, as well as to retire earlier. However, to qualify for this, a woman must meet several criteria.
Who is Entitled to a Pension Supplement
Mothers who have given birth to or adopted five or more children and raised them to the age of six may receive a supplement to their basic pension.
The amount of the supplement ranges from 35% to 40% of the minimum subsistence level for non-working individuals. In 2025, this is a maximum of 944.4 UAH per month (minimum subsistence level — 2,361 UAH).
If the mother has passed away or has been deprived of parental rights, the right to the supplement may be transferred to the father, provided that he raised the children until they were six years old.
Parents who have raised five or more children may benefit from the right to early retirement:
- women — from 50 years with 15 years of experience;
- men — from 55 years with the same minimum work experience.
What Documents Are Required
To arrange for an early pension, you must contact the Pension Fund and provide:
- employment record book;
- copies of children's passports;
- Ukrainian citizen passport;
- documents regarding insurance experience;
- identification code (RNOKPP);
- birth certificates of the children.
You can submit an application no earlier than a month before reaching 50 years and no later than three months after this age.
Previously, we wrote that many pensioners in Ukraine receive meager payments, and therefore, without family support or savings, it is difficult to survive. In such conditions, state benefits are important support that should be utilized.
We also mentioned that earlier in Ukraine, court decisions regarding pension supplements were not enforced, but now the situation has changed — the mechanism for paying such debts has started working.
The government provides the opportunity for certain categories of Ukrainian women to receive pension supplements and retire earlier due to raising a larger number of children. In this way, the state aims to support mothers who invest great efforts in raising children and securing their future.Read also
