Enemy Drone Attack Targets Ukraine

According to TSN.ua: Ukraine came under attack from enemy Shahed-type drones during the night of February 12. The assault was launched from multiple directions, targeting regions in the east, north, and south of the country. These Iranian-designed drones have become a staple of Russia's long-range strike arsenal in the ongoing war.

Hostile drones approached the city of Kremenchuk from the direction of the Kamianske Reservoir. Several attack UAVs were tracked moving west along the border of the Kharkiv, Poltava, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Additional groups of enemy attack drones from Russia's Belgorod region were detected in the Sumy region. One UAV was spotted on a route from Zaporizhzhia to Dnipropetrovsk, while another was tracked heading toward Cherkasy via the Kremenchuk Reservoir.

Widespread Threats and Consequences

Further threats emerged as new groups of attack UAVs from Russia's Bryansk region headed toward the Chernihiv region, and groups of hostile drones from the Black Sea attempted to strike the Odesa region. In response to these events, a large-scale air raid alert was declared across Ukraine following the takeoff of MiG fighter jets and missile launches toward Kropyvnytskyi.

This attack demonstrates the adversary's continued use of active military operations and unmanned technologies to conduct combat operations.

It underscores the critical need to enhance Ukraine's defensive capabilities and readiness for potential threats from all directions. Within the context of the protracted conflict, such incidents can have severe consequences for the security of the targeted regions and for the overall situation in the country.
