Massive attack on Ukraine. The Air Force reported how many targets were hit.
According to inkorr.com: On the night of August 27-28, Russia launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine using drones and missiles. According to 'Glavkom', the Ukrainian Air Force destroyed 589 targets that the enemy attempted to hit.
The attack began at 19:30 on August 27 and lasted all night. During this attack, the occupiers used 629 air assault means, including both drones and missiles.
According to military sources, the enemy launched the following fire power:
- 598 strike drones of the Shahed type and imitators;
- two aeroballistic missiles X-47M2 'Kinzhal';
- nine Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles;
- 20 cruise missiles X-101.
The air defense struck 589 targets, destroying or capturing fire means at 13 locations, and debris was recorded at 26.
Consequences of the attack on Kyiv
As of 08:44, work is underway in the capital to eliminate the consequences of armed attacks. Rescuers are actively working to remove the debris.
According to the State Emergency Service, six people died, and 26 were injured. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that among the deceased there are at least eight people, including a child.
As a result of the attack, transportation has been partially halted, and changes have been made to the operation of public transport.
Against the backdrop of these events, Ukraine reported a massive attack by Russia during which 589 targets were destroyed. Work continues to eliminate the consequences of the attack in the capital, where, unfortunately, people died and were injured. The Ukrainian military has shown effectiveness in countering the aggressor, taking measures to eliminate the aftermath of this horrific episode of the war.
