According to ТСН: As a result of the massive strike on Kyiv, one person was killed, and the number of injured has risen to 28. Among them, 13 people were hospitalized in medical facilities in the capital.

This information was confirmed by Mayor Vitali Klitschko and Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.

“As of now, one dead and more than 20 injured people in the capital are known. In the region, damage to about a dozen civilian objects has been recorded. There is one dead person in Bila Tserkva,” said the Interior Minister.

Searches for a potentially blocked person under the rubble are ongoing in the Dniprovskyi district.

Civil infrastructure objects were hit in Kyiv. In particular, more than ten residential buildings in various districts of the capital were damaged. Rescuers are promptly extinguishing fires and dealing with the debris. The police and State Emergency Service evacuated 68 people from a geriatric nursing home in the Darnytskyi district.

Series of explosions in the capital

During the night and in the morning, several explosions occurred in Kyiv. Russia, carrying out a massive strike on the capital, used missiles and drones. Damages and destruction of residential buildings as well as fires occurred in many areas of the city.

Technogenic situation

The attack plunged Kyiv into cold and darkness.

The city is experiencing interruptions in heating, water, and electricity. More than 2,600 residential buildings, nearly 200 kindergartens, and over a hundred schools are without centralized heating.

This attack highlights the difficult humanitarian situation in Kyiv, where residents are facing numerous challenges. With the absence of basic communication services, people have to not only deal with the aftermath of the explosions but also seek alternative sources of heat and light. The situation remains tense, and rescue services continue to work on mitigating the consequences of armed aggression.
