Food poisoning in a hospital in Turkey
According to inkorr.com: In Atatürk Hospital in Aydin province (Turkey), 60 medical staff were affected by food poisoning. According to the Turkish publication NTV, the workers went to the emergency department after lunch, complaining of nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
During the investigation, it was revealed that all the victims had consumed chicken dishes during lunch. Although the medical staff's health is stable, the examination is ongoing. Food samples have been sent for analysis.
The situation remains under control, and the investigation continues to determine the exact cause of the incident.
This case highlights the importance of adhering to sanitary standards in healthcare facilities. It is desirable that such incidents not only be thoroughly investigated but also serve as a reason to strengthen the control over food quality in hospitals, in order to prevent similar situations in the future.
