The Mayor of Pokrovsk is now working as a mechanic in Madrid.

The Mayor of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region continues to declare his salary

For the last two years, the mayor of Pokrovsk, Ruslan Trebushkin, has continued to declare his salary in office, although all powers have been transferred to the Pokrovsk City Military Administration. He earned 125.4 thousand UAH in 2023 and 170.1 thousand UAH in 2024.

Since last year, Trebushkin has also been working at two other jobs abroad. He receives a salary from a construction company in Madrid and from a Spanish LLC engaged in car sales. In his declaration, he stated that he works as a mechanic at this enterprise.

Regarding Trebushkin's crossing of the border, the State Border Guard Service refused to respond, citing personal data protection. Volunteer Denis Khrystov, who works in Pokrovsk, noted that he has not seen the mayor in the city. He stated that the mayor should remain in his city and country.

At the time of publication, Trebushkin had again addressed Ukrainians from Liège in Belgium. He described the local train station and provided assistance to internally displaced persons.

It is worth recalling that in September 2022, Trebushkin was stripped of his powers, and Sergey Dobryak was appointed in his stead.
