The German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius gathered the defense ministers of the five leading European NATO countries at a virtual conference, where they all unanimously confirmed their political and military support for Ukraine. This was reported by MDR.

As part of the meeting of the 'Group of Five', which includes Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Poland, the ministers agreed on further development of security policy.

'Everyone agrees that Ukraine can count on further broad support from the 'Big Five'', it was noted in the .

This virtual meeting took place shortly after the scandalous negotiations between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The next 'Group of Five' meeting at the level of defense ministers will take place on March 12 in Paris.

After Donald Trump won the presidential elections in the US, meetings in this format are being held with the aim of strengthening European security and increasing the continent's defense readiness.

Pistorius had previously warned the US about premature actions by Russia.
