Variable cloudiness, occasional rain: weather forecast for May 3.
On Saturday, May 3, meteorologists forecast a cool day in Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, a brief rain and thunderstorms are expected in the western, northern, Vinnytsia, and Cherkasy regions today. Hail is also possible in some areas of the western part of the country.
In the rest of the territory, no rains are expected. The wind will be predominantly southwesterly at a speed of 7-12 m/s, with gusts of up to 15-20 m/s possible in the western and northern regions. The air temperature at night will fluctuate from 1-6° Celsius in the Left Bank and Crimea to 3-8° Celsius in the rest of the territory. During the day, 15-20° Celsius is expected in the Left Bank and Crimea, 19-24° Celsius in the rest of the territory, and 13-18° Celsius on the coast.
In Kyiv and Kyiv region, slight cloudiness is expected. The region may have brief rains and thunderstorms, while Kyiv will have no precipitation in the first half of the day and a brief rain in the second half.
The wind in Kyiv will be southwesterly at a speed of 7-12 m/s, with gusts of up to 15-20 m/s possible in the region. The temperature at night will be 6-8° Celsius, and during the day, 20-22° Celsius is expected.
Additionally, the Department of Culture announced a weekly digest of cultural events until May 4, which discusses cultural events of museums, theaters, and libraries in the capital.
