The Ministry of Defense has approved the use of domestic drones that are minimally vulnerable to electronic warfare.
Ukrainian drone systems Zeus and Hades have been authorized for use by the Armed Forces
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has codified and permitted the use of drone systems Zeus and Hades within the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the Main Directorate for the Support of the Life Cycle of Armaments and Military Equipment.
The maneuverable FPV drones of these systems have frames of various sizes. Thanks to engine settings and an improved control system, they can catch up with and hit enemy equipment moving at high speed. They can target field fortifications, armored vehicles, and enemy personnel.
The flying machines of these systems are minimally vulnerable to the influence of enemy electronic warfare tools.
Recently, the Ministry of Defense also codified and authorized the use of a new domestically produced drone system called 'Gromilo' in the Armed Forces. It is designed to target enemy personnel, combat equipment, and field shelters.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, also previously announced that Ukrainian weapons manufacturers are engaging in more contracts, especially for drones and missiles. He also mentioned the successful testing of a new missile, 'Ruta'.
