The Ministry of Defense plans to procure kits for wounded soldiers
According to inkorr.com: The State Operational Rear of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has announced the procurement of personal hygiene kits intended for wounded military personnel as part of the 'Wounded Package' initiative. The goal of this initiative is to provide defenders with necessary items in medical facilities during treatment.
To date, three procurements have been announced totaling over 37 million hryvnias. Specifically, the supply of kits for men (48,000 sets) and women (2,000 sets) is planned.
'By the end of this year, military personnel will receive the first personal hygiene kits. The differentiation of kits into male and female allows us to consider the individual needs of patients in medical facilities. Currently, we are procuring what is truly needed in the first days after an injury,' emphasizes Mykyta Chichkan, director of the DOT property program.
The Ministry of Defense noted that the supplies will be delivered to hospitals in various regions that provide medical assistance to military personnel. The first shipments are scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025.
'At the end of June, DOT had already purchased the first element of the package - adaptive clothing for military personnel of all Defense Forces. Now we have moved on to the next component - hygiene kits, which will be delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine through medical institutions,' stated the Ministry of Defense.
The procurement of personal hygiene kits for wounded military personnel as part of the 'Wounded Package' initiative confirms the authorities' constant attention to the armed forces and contributes to creating proper conditions for the treatment and recovery of our defenders.
