International Aid - Who Among Pensioners Will Receive 10.8 Thousand UAH.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has started accepting applications for financial assistance of 10.8 thousand UAH in one of the communities in Sumy region. The program is available for elderly people.
According to information from the organization's press center on their Telegram channel, registration for the assistance will be open until July 24. Potential participants in the program include displaced persons and citizens who have returned or were forced to leave their homes due to the circumstances of the war.
Conditions of the Support Program from UNHCR
Criteria for determining participants in the program include age and financial restrictions. Special priority is given to citizens who head households with pensioners, children, or persons with disabilities.
- For participation in the program, it is important that there has been no prior assistance from other organizations in the last three months.
- The individual income per family member must not exceed 5.4 thousand UAH.
Amount of Assistance and Application Submission Process
Each participant in the program can expect to receive assistance amounting to 10.8 thousand UAH, which will be paid out over three months. To sign up for assistance in the town of Krolevec on July 24, the following phone number is provided: 063 182 68 38.
'The organizers request to wait for a call from the staff for further instructions,' the message added.
It should also be noted that besides the UNHCR program, there are similar humanitarian aid programs for vulnerable populations from other international organizations.
For example, in Dnipropetrovsk region, there is a USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance program, and Ukrainians can also receive support from the Estonian Refugee Council.
